LAMB OF GOD: Controversial 'Now You've Got Something To Die For' Video To Air This Weekend
March 3, 2005LAMB OF GOD's controversial video for the track "Now You've Got Something To Die For" will receive its world premiere this Saturday, March 5 on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". The video will also debut on Fuse's "Uranium" on Monday, March 7.
The video, consisting of live performance and backstage footage taken during the "Ashes of the Wake" tour, did not initially pass either MTV or Fuse network standards, but will air with several scenes censored due to graphic content. The uncensored video is slated for inclusion on the group's upcoming DVD release, "Killadelphia", due on April 19 via Epic Records. The "Killadelphia" disc will consist primarily of footage filmed during the band's two performances at Philadelphia's Trocadero on October 16-17, 2004. Directing the shoot was Doug Spangenberg of High Roller Studios.
LAMB OF GOD's first album, released under the group's previous moniker BURN THE PRIEST, will be reissued by Epic Records on March 22. Remixed and remastered by metal guru Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, NAPALM DEATH),and featuring new liner notes by original producer Steve Austin (CONVERGE, TODAY IS THE DAY, UNSANE),the album was originally released on the Legion label in 1998 and features artwork by K3n Adams.
